Béa is a British contemporary artist, who applies a combination of painting, video and photography with a delicate interplay of the abstract and figurative – drawing on themes that can be political, architectural or organically natural.

Early in her career (circa 2008, Zürich, Switzerland), the challenge of translating what she saw in abstract, ephemeral scenarios in Nature led to elemental Rorschach-like multimedia artworks. She considered the visual and emotional interpretations of colour and compositions through her works, later on, she paired down her focus to the perception of the artwork itself. A diverse yet substantial body of reflective artworks has evolved as a result. An Echo Of Chaos – 2009, Luminosity – 2012, Metamorphosis – 2013, and Humans – 2014 ongoing.

Béa has lived, worked and travelled across much of Europe and the Middle East; she has been committed to developing her fine art practice full-time since 2008. A career-spanning solo exhibitions in NYC and Bath, collaboration with Qatar/London based couture designer Toujouri,  an exhibition with Castle Fine Art Galleries, Mayfair, London (Summer 2014); Group shows at Victoria Gallery, Bath (2014, 2015); being shortlisted for Passion For Freedom Art Festival (2015) Mall Galleries, London and a group show in Exeter with the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts (2015), RWA (2016) in addition to participating in many charity art events in UK and undertaking private commissions and collaborations with architects on eminent projects. Béa’s recent work resides in the Museo del Mare, Lampedusa, Italy. Béa has been invited as Guest Speaker at Art In Activism/Activism In Art symposium, UWE Bristol and London Art Science Evening Rendezvous (London LASER) at the University of Westminster in collaboration with Central Saint Martins.
